Attorney Franklin L. Robinson, Jr.


Franklin L. Robinson, Jr. was born and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina.  He was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army Reserves Military Police Corps upon graduating from North Carolina Central University (a proud Historically Black College and University) with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice.  He obtained a Master of Science degree from the University of Cincinnati in Criminal Justice.  Upon returning to his alma mater, he graduated from the North Carolina Central University School of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctor degree.

Attorney Robinson is actively involved in numerous social organizations and non-profit boards.  He is a member of: Prince Hall Masonic Lodge Golden Star #143, St. Cyprian Consistory No. 4, the Loyal Order of the Moose, the FROGS Club of Pittsburgh, Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity, International, the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Homer S. Brown Law Division, the Pittsburgh Black Lawyers Alliance and James W. Johnson Veterans American Legion Post # 715.

Attorney Robinson has received the Pennsylvania Award for Pro-Bono service and Community Empowerment Association Community Builders Award.

Attorney Robinson was also a member of the Kiwanis Club of East Liberty and appointed on the Advisory Board at the Shuman Center in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

​

Attorney Robinson is licensed to practice in all state courts in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the  Federal District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
